Integrator Marquee AV has deployed Bose Professional audio technology for an installation at “&Soul”, a newly launched wellness and cultural venue housed in a restored Victorian textile warehouse in Shoreditch, London. The “&Soul’ venue offers a diverse programme of movement classes, sound journeys, live events, and immersive experiences, including what it bills as the UK’s first “rave-in-a-sauna”.
To support this multifaceted offering, Marquee AV was commissioned to design and install a venue-wide sound system for a range of acoustically and environmentally challenging spaces.
The installation spans several key areas. The Soul Room, a 194sqm double-height event space, was equipped with Bose Professional DesignMax DM8S loudspeakers and DM10S subwoofers, finished in custom RAL Macore Red to match the interior. A Pioneer DJ system was also installed to support live performances.
The Sensorium Spa, features the “SUN” sauna, a 40-person circular Aufguss space, and the “MOON” mist room. Marquee AV specified heat- and humidity-resistant Bose Professional FS4SEs and DM10S subwoofers for the sauna, and FS2SEs with FS3 bass modules for the mist room.
The company equipped the Sanctuary & Heart Studio – which covers over 3,200sqm – with FS2SEs and FS3 modules for movement classes and workshops.
Finally, in the reception, cafe and lounges, FreeSpace FS2P Pendant-Mount Loudspeakers were installed to deliver background audio.
The project required close collaboration with &Soul’s architectural and design teams to integrate the AV hardware with the venue’s handcrafted interiors. Custom speaker finishes and discreet mounting solutions were employed to maintain aesthetic harmony.
