“AWE is expanding its training in line with the expansion of Pronto sales,” commented AWE Europe’s Training Manager, Mal Fisher. “As demand for the product continues to rise, we will further increase training and we already have the facilities to do this. This higher level of training requested from us is an indication that, in a more competitive market, the value of well-trained staff is being recognised for both a company and its customers.
“Worldwide, Pronto Certification levels are also on the up and the amount of Pronto Certification being awarded by AWE in the UK is only second to that being awarded in the US. It’s encouraging to see the expansion of the industry across Europe and worldwide and more training can only lead to higher standards of product specification and the professionalism of installers.”
Over 400 dealers have passed the Pronto Level 1 Certification programme, which is granted to installers that show a solid foundation knowledge of the product range and basic programming. Over 100 have also gained Level 2 but so far only a handful of installers have successfully passed Pronto Level 3 since it assumes an advanced working knowledge of networks, Pronto and Pronto Edit.
