AVnu Alliance has welcomed eight new members as the industry consortium continues to drive open standards-based networking with AVB.
New members include: Xavtel, makers of modern HD video, audio, conference and VoIP solutions (pictured Senator conferencing system); MIPRO, a manufacturer of wireless microphone and wireless PA systems; Coveloz, a technology provider of embedded and fully programmable media transport solutions; NXP Semiconductors; Ixia; intoPIX; Imagination Technologies; and Pivitec.
As the AVnu Alliance grows to nearly 80 members, these new members represent continued momentum for the alliance. The new memberships take this year’s total number of companies added to more than a dozen spread across different market segments.
“AVB standards are the future of the AV networking industry and we are excited to be a part of this strong alliance to bring solution solutions to our customers,” said Eugene Chen, vice president of international sales for MIPRO.
