AVIXA Women’s Council to hold workplace wellness event

Liverpool afternoon of networking and debate to explore how to keep employees healthy and happy

AVIXA Women’s Council holding a Wellness and Workplace Change networking event in Liverpool on June 22, from 330pm to 7pm. Wellness and Workplace Change: How to Inspire Happiness in a Changing Workplace will take place at Spaces at The Spine, one of the UK’s healthiest buildings.

The event includes a keynote by Debra Stevens (pictured), trainer, coach, speaker, and author of the newly released book: Stand Out – 5 key skills to advance your career. Stevens will speak about leadership and 5 ways to inspire innovation, increase engagement and retention, and maintain team well-being.

In addition, a panel discussion will explore workplace wellbeing, the impact of culture and workspace design – what’s changed and the key to a thriving environment. Angela Townsend, director of channel sales at SMART Technologies, Jamie Brothwell, director of pro AV at Exertis, and Owen Ellis, chairman of the AV User Group, are panellists.

They’ll also be an optional tour of the award-winning Spaces at The Spine, and time to network over drinks and canapes while enjoying the stunning views from the top of building.
