Installation Best of Show at IBC2023 winners announced

Congratulations go to Vizrt's TriCaster Mini Go; Lumens Digital Optics' CamConnect Pro; Amazon Web Services' AWS Elemental Link UHD upgrade; and the ARION NRCS from SNEWS Broadcast Solutions

The winners of this years Installation magazine category Best of Show at IBC have been announced. They are confirmed as Vizrt’s TriCaster Mini Go; Lumens Digital Optics’ CamConnect Pro (AI-Box1 CamConnect Processor); Amazon Web Services’ AWS Elemental Link UHD Integration with AWS Elemental MediaConnect; and the ARION NRCS from SNEWS Broadcast Solutions.

The Vizrt TriCaster Mini Go offers the company’s simplest set-up yet, with a host of professional-level video production features that meet the needs of up-and-coming creators. It’s a scalable solution that can be simplified or expanded, as necessary, even just by using a simple Converter. USB and NDI connectivity makes it possible to use existing devices like mics, cameras, and low-cost apps to bring sources into the TriCaster.

Lumens’ CamConnect Pro works with Nureva, Sennheiser, Shure and Yamaha directional microphone arrays. These microphones locate the real-time position of active voices and transmit the data to the Lumens processor. CamConnect Pro uses this positional data to focus PTZ cameras on the current presenters, and supports up-to 16 microphone arrays and 4 PTZ cameras.

Amazon Web Services has introduced its latest update for AWS Elemental Link UHD, an encoding device for contributing live HDMI and SDI video sources to the cloud, introduced support for AWS Elemental MediaConnect, a cloud-based secure, reliable video transport service. Leveraging Link UHD with MediaConnect, live production professionals, sports and entertainment venues, educational institutions, houses of worship, corporate facilities, and systems installers can easily establish ground-to-cloud workflows for processing and distributing live video, saving time and resources compared to alternative on-premises, satellite, or fibre infrastructure.

SNEWS Broadcast Solutions’ flagship product, Arion NCRS, recently demonstrated its mettle through a groundbreaking installation project with Rede Amazonica, and is said to reshape the broadcast industry’s paradigm. Rede Amazonica’s sprawling network posed a challenge that SNews was uniquely positioned to tackle. As the largest SNews customer and a dominant presence in Brazil’s Northern Region, Rede Amazonica’s extensive reach demanded a solution that could seamlessly unify media management across vast territories and provide a streamlined experience for its audience of 6.2 million potential viewers.
