VITEC acquires OTT streaming specialist T-21 Technologies

T-21 devices support decoding, transcoding, encoding, recording and network protocol translation of streaming media over private and public IP networks

Video encoding and streaming solutions firm VITEC, has today (Jan 28) announced the acquisition of T-21 Technologies, a provider of OTT streaming media solutions for media operations, broadcasters, and content owners worldwide. Kevin Ancelin, founder and CEO of T-21 Technologies, will join VITEC as vice president of worldwide broadcast sales.

T-21 devices support decoding, transcoding, encoding, recording and network protocol translation of streaming media over private and public IP networks.

Markets served include – Broadcast, OTT streaming media, corporate, military, law enforcement, medical, house of worship, security and intelligent transportation systems
