Anthem AV Solutions has been appointed as the UK distributor of Live-wall, the new American architectural speaker company that aims to deliver perfect invisible sound.
Live-Wall’s first product, the LW1218 speaker, is said to be the industry’s only point-source, direct radiating invisible speaker system. This means that it is different to the other ‘vibrational’ invisible speaker systems on the market because it works like a traditional high-end in-wall speaker.
More importantly, it sounds like a traditional high-end in-wall speaker system – offering a stunning audiophile performance – whilst remaining completely invisible under plaster, paint or wallpaper.
These speakers truly empower the designer to provide a stunning audio quality whilst satisfying the customer’s requirement to ‘hide the speakers’. They are weather-resistant and can be fitted in environments that include showers, steam rooms and even on boats.
The speaker can be installed nearly anywhere within a room due to its 160° dispersion pattern. With power handling to 100W, output of 102 dB at 1m and a frequency range of 54 Hz to 20 kHz the specs read much like a traditional speaker.
