Advantech will be presenting its new 28in 1920 x 358 LED stretched digital signage display – the DSD-5028 – at ISE 2014. The fanless solution has been designed for use in transportation, elevators and public venues and is pitched as a power-saving alternative to more conventional LED signage solutions used in limited spaces in these industries.
The panel – which can be deployed in both horizontal and vertical installations – includes LCD resizing technology and offers an aspect ratio of 16:3, brightness of 700 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. The DSD-5028 also supports VGA and DVI signal interfaces and audio functions for easy connection with the plug-and play system.
In addition, the series includes an RS232 interface reserved for alternative connectivity and comes with a flexible wall mounting interface of 200 x 100mm for easy installation and can be bundled with Advantech digital signage players in a rear AD box.
A larger 38in DSD-5038 stretched signage display will be announced soon, according to the company.
