KVM specialist scoops German Top 100 innovation award

Company named as one of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies

G&D CEOs Roland Ollek and Nils Strauch pose with the TOP 100 Award

KVM specialist Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) has been recognised with a 2021 TOP 100 award for its commitment to innovation. The awards, which have been given out annually by German consultancy compamedia since 1993, are appointed to medium-sized companies as a ‘quality seal of approval’ to recognise efforts in innovation that go above and beyond the average.

In announcing its quality seal for ‘innovation success’, G&D explained that more than 120 criteria from five categories were used to evaluate the submissions: innovation-friendly top management, innovative climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success. Also taken into consideration was whether innovation has been the result of a planned strategic approach or a product of chance; i.e. whether they can be repeated. Consideration was also given to companies’ response to the acute challenges of pandemic conditions.

“The Top 100 Award is the most important award for innovative companies in the SME sector, and we are delighted that it recognizes the creativity and problem-solving skills of our entire team,” said G&D managing director Rolland Ollek.
