Following the recent introduction of the new CM Series ceiling mount loudspeakers, Niles Audio has announced the introduction of its first-ever compact ceiling mount speaker with a 4in footprint – the CM4PR.
Designed with computer-optimised Linkwitz Riley crossover components, the CM4PR includes Niles Rear Wave Control to inhibit sound transfer to adjacent rooms. Magnetically attached MicroThin speaker grilles ensure a ‘virtually invisible’ appearance, while a rigid mineral-filled polypropylene cone reduces breakup, lowers distortion and provides enhanced bass response.
The new speaker has a frequency response of 70Hz-21kHz, and is recommended for use with an amplifier providing 25-100W.
