Hyundai signage displays for window deployment

Hyundai IT will be presenting its solution to digital signage displays that need to operate in high temperatures, showcasing panels capable of operating in temperatures of up to 105° at ISE.

Mounting digital signage displays in windows has always been a challenge because of the impact of either high ambient light or sunlight – and also because of the potential impact of heat on reliability. To address this need, Hyundai IT is demonstrating two new display models specifically designed for window deployment; the D471MLH and D551MLH are 47in and 55in screens respectively. They feature a high temperature panel capable of operating in environments up to 105° C, making them less susceptible to the so-called blackout effects, which are caused by overheating. In order to ensure the best readability of the screen content in high light environments, the new displays feature a brightness of 2300 cd/m?, a function of the full LED backlight. As well as these high temperature displays, Hyundai IT is presenting additional window displays with transflective panels and optical bonding technology. Also featured on the Hyundai IT stand are the D46EMS and D55EMS super slim, LED-backlit displays. With a depth of only 39.5mm, the D46EMS (46in) and the D55EMS (55in), weigh almost half as much as a comparable standard public display and uses only 50% of the power, says the manufacturer. Hyundai IT’s presence at ISE is rounded off with a range of new outdoor displays, digital white boards, public displays with built-in PC, touch-screen displays (single/multitouch), wide-view displays with a narrow bezel, various stand-alone kiosk systems with new designs, °stereoscopic 3D displays and a 3D video wall.Stand: 10N120 www.hyundaiit.com
