Vivitek has added four new digital projectors to its D5 product range – the D516, D517, D518 and D519. Specifically designed for multimedia applications and portability, these models provide high brightness, 3D-ready capabilities and what the company describes as a high efficiency long life lamp.
The D516, D517, D518 and D519 provide 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 for amazing picture quality. They feature TI’s DLP and BrilliantColor technologies, with connectivity including HDMI (D518 and D519), VGA-in, S-Video, composite video, and RS-232C ports, as well as a 2 watt internal audio speaker. Weighing 1.9kg, lamp life is said to be 6,000 hours in economy mode.
With a native SVGA (D516 and D517) and XGA (D518 and D519) resolutions with display capability up to UXGA, the D5 series is 3D-ready through TI’s DLP Link.
