ProSource, the largest audio, video, and integration buying group in the United States, has announced that its new Lighting Technology and Learning Center will feature a Vantage end-to-end human-centric lighting (HCL) system – with load control provided by the DMX-DALI-GATEWAY and InFusion Controller II – for precise dimming of WAC Aether Series light fixtures.
The Learning Center will be inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 23, at the start of the popular Lightovation trade show, scheduled for March 23-26. Dave Workman, president and CEO of ProSource, will preside at the opening festivities at 10am CST (3pm GMT).
The space will provide an opportunity for retail and design-build customers to learn about lighting applications and advancements in an immersive setting. Eventually, the Learning Center will be available for hands-on, live Level 2 curriculum of the exclusive ProSource Lighting Technology Certification program, which was launched earlier this year through ProSource University.
The new Learning Center will demonstrate the seamless way in which Vantage integrates with lighting fixtures and third-party platforms. “Visitors to the Learning Center can interact with the Vantage HCL system using the Equinox 41 glass LCD touchscreen controller and the EasyTouch Glass modular keypad station, both of which combine powerful functionality with a sleek, contemporary design,” said Charlie Derk, director of product marketing, shading and residential controls, Legrand North and Central America.
