Fontys School of Arts, a multipurpose building in The Netherlands, has received PROLIGHTS fixtures for its wide variety of rehearsal rooms, dance studios, a large music hall and the academy-theatre.
A major tender was issued for the replacement of the traditional theatre, show and hall lighting, based on the advice of PBTA Theatre & Akoestiek, with Lichtpunt Theatertechniek from Groningen winning the tender.
Lichtpunt chose Full AVL, PROLIGHTS’ distributor in the region. In addition to supplying materials, Full AVL also provided technical support and programming. Together with a team of local companies in Tilburg, Lichtpunt ensured that the immense installation of rigging, cabling, fixtures and control was installed in 6 weeks, during the summer holidays. This meant that students could immediately use the new facilities after their holiday.
Several fixtures from PROLIGHTS were specified, including: 38x EclFresnel JrTW; 45x EclProfile FWTU; 24x LumiPar 12UQPRO; 14x LumiPix 12 UQ PRO; 6x Polar 3000 High powered strobe; 70x DisplayCob FC; and 34x DisplayCob WW.
