Midwich Group, via its German based AV distributor, Kern & Stelly Medientechnik GmbH, has acquired the unified communications division of Hamburg-based eLink Distribution AG.
eLink provides audio-visual communication and network solutions to trade customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region), and is renowned for its technical support and expertise. The business is an established value-added distributor of leading manufacturer partners such as Poly, Lifesize, and DTEN.
eLink also acts as the distributor and master agent for Zoom Video Communications, Inc licenses in the DACH region. Existing customers of Kern & Stelly and eLink, will now have access to the Zoom portfolio, including licenses and Zoom recommended hardware.
eLink’s 30 employees and 20 manufacturers will further expand Kern & Stelly’s expertise in the UC sector. The founders and directors of eLink, Roman Klinke and Daniel Ebeling, will lead the newly formed UC competence centre at Kern & Stelly.
