Humly returns to InfoComm with a bigger booth and a new feature for its Humly Floor Plan software, which takes space booking outside the walls of the workplace, school, or healthcare facility. Humly will introduce new power, control, and sensing accessories for the Humly Booking Device, at InfoComm (June 12-14, Las Vegas Convention Center). Humly exhibits at Booth C9277.
Humly Floor Plan is one of four software solutions from Humly designed to help people navigate the challenges of the modern workplace. Humly Floor Plan specifically addresses the challenge of booking workspaces in hybrid business environments with flexible, dynamic worker schedules.
The product provides a 3D overview of meeting rooms, desks, and now parking space availability on each floor, in each building, and in every garage. The new Parking Space Booking feature provides a complete view of the open-air parking lot, or multi-level garage.
The software’s 3D visualisation allows users to identify available spaces for general, visitor, disabled, and electric vehicle parking, among other areas. Parking spaces are shaded red (booked) and green (available) on the layout; users claim an open spot upon clicking the bookable parking space and entering the desired parking duration.
“We developed this application to help staff and visitors navigate the concrete jungle of everyday parking, which can be especially challenging in busy urban centers, as well as shared parking lots and garages,” said Oskar Hagberg, CTO, Humly.
“It is perfectly at home within Humly Floor Plan because of its full-view visibility and deep interactive capabilities. We will soon add more interactive elements, including clickable icons, making booking choices even easier to identify. With the ability to also swipe, scroll, zoom in, and zoom out, Humly Floor Plan and its latest feature are squarely focused on ease of use and the customer experience.”
Humly will unveil its latest Humly Booking Device innovations to North American audiences at InfoComm, including a new network-enabled accessory that improves powering and control functionalities for desk integrations. Introduced at ISE in February, Humly’s PoE and Desk Control features are enabled through a separate accessory with an ethernet port for PoE powering and a separate cabling connection to control desk positions. These features can be turned on separately or together.
Humly will also show a second external accessory to detect human presence inside a phone booth or other personal meeting space. The External Sensor immediately notifies the local Booking Device when someone has entered the booth, which switches to “booked” mode and changes the built-in LED lighting to red. Both accessories are small enough to fit inside walls or mount underneath desks for cleaner installations that conceal accessories from direct sightlines.
