tvONE training courses now InfoComm accredited

Five training courses from video and multimedia processing equipment manufacturer tvONE now qualify for InfoComm Technology Specialist (CTS) renewal units (RU).

Video and multimedia processing equipment manufacturer tvONE has announced that several of its training academy programmes now qualify for InfoComm Technology Specialist (CTS) renewal units (RU).

tvONE offers five courses that are CTS certified:

tvONE Introduction (3 hours, 1.5 RU Credits)

This introductory course covers tvONE’s heritage, technology and products while exploring a number of industry considerations including scaling, keying, edge blending, video wall design, HDMI extension, UTP extension, and fibre extension, Digital vs Analogue, Digital Cliff, HDCP and EDID.

CORIO Video Scaling Technology (3 hours, 1.5 RU Credits)

Using a number of tvONE scalers, this course explores how to use such technology for a number of applications including medical, education, conference rooms, events and military deployments including Picture-In-Picture, Switching, Edge Blending and also for Multiviewers. We also examine HDCP and EDID issues.

CORIO Creative Video Wall Design (3 hours, 1.5 RU Credits)

Using the CORIOmax family – CORIOmaster, CORIOmaster mini and CORIOmatrix – the course explores how to create creative videowalls and to deploy scalable AV matrixes. We also learn how to control projector edge blends before creating a system with a variety of analog and digital sources with output displays and projectors.

Magenta UTP & Fibre Extension and Switching (3 hours, 1.5 RU Credits)

This course explores Cat 5/6 Extension, UTP extension and switching and fibre extension and switching including various topologies including Point to Point, Star, Daisy Chain, Point to Multi-Point and Matrix Switching.

HDBaseT Extension (2 Hours, 1RU Credit)

This course explores the technology behind HDBaseT and HDBaseT-Lite before examining the real world deployments of HDBaseT/HDBaseT-Lite extenders together with Distribution and Switching possibilities.

All these courses are held at tvONE’s facility in Maidenhead,Berkshire, UK. Participants can enroll online through the company’s training website.
