The Armour Home brand is an integral part of the Royal Terrace residential development in Guernsey. A Long Port Group development, the Royal Terrace comprises 48 luxury apartments and eight penthouses offering impressive views over St. Peter’s Port and beyond.
Each apartment is pre-wired for a range of E-LIFE audiovisual packages which can be tailored to the owner’s requirements. Multi-room music, home cinema options, bathroom TVs, HD TV and high-speed internet access can all be part of the configuration.
Armour Home’s Systemline HomeNet enclosures are installed as standard with provision for broadband and phone lines fed throughout each Royal Terrace property. All apartments are also pre-cabled for Systemline Modular, with option packages ranging from basic audio distribution and control to full touch screen automation including heating and lighting controls.
The Systemline HomeNet enclosures provide the central hub from which all incoming services are distributed via Cat5e and coaxial cables. The central enclosures integrate the home automation systems as well as offering the ability to work with the Systemline Modular audio and video hubs.
Adrian Ickeringill, new-build sales manager for Armour Home, told IE Residential: “Given the challenges facing developers in the new-build construction market, [including] building sustainable homes, maintaining sales and pricing, and meeting customer expectations, forward-thinking developers are certainly seeing the value of including home networking and multi-room entertainment in modern developments.
We at Armour Home are excited to be involved in such a prestigious project with E-LIFE. They provide the complete package for the developer on-site, including project management, installation, sales and marketing support to ensure that the multi-room package becomes the perfect complement to the Longport properties. This enables the developer to differentiate the site and develop sales through the added-value of its inclusion.”
