UK distributor Steljes has launched the latest Elmo visualiser the MO-1 which is said to be so compact that it is smaller than a business envelope.
Visualisers have become an integral part of the modern day classroom, according to Steljes, and are used in teaching all age groups from primary through to university level. They enable users to capture images of documents or 3D objects and display them via a PC and interactive whiteboard to the whole class to see.
Available in three different colours – black, white and pink - the Elmo MO-1 is described as an ultra-compact and highly portable visualiser that weighs only 550g. Steljes said that it is one of the highest quality imaging mobile presenters on the market with full HD and the latest 5 megapixel CMOS sensor.
“The MO-1 is so compact and lightweight that it can be easily carried inside a jacket pocket or small handbag,” said Shinji Asano, President of ELMO Europe SAS. “It comes with a host of powerful features including 5 megapixel CMOS sensor, built in microphone and ability to record full motion video. The MO-1 integrates seamlessly with the CRA-1 wireless tablet giving teachers and students the freedom to interact with content wherever they are in the classroom and enabling the whole class to see that content.”
“Visualisers have become a ‘must have’ for the 21st century classroom and is an ideal cost-effective solution for the education sector,” said Martine Dodwell-Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director at Steljes. “The Elmo MO-1 is a feature rich document camera that can be used not only to project the smallest objects onto a screen for the whole class to see but also capture those images using the audio and video capability of the visualiser for use in project work or revision purposes. The Elmo MO-1 is so portable it’s likely we’ll see teachers and lecturers slipping these into their pocket as they move to different classrooms. It also comes with a 5 year return to base warranty at no extra cost for additional peace of mind”
