Projector and visual presentation product manufacturer Vivitek is showing its brightest single-chip laser projector at ISE 2018: the DU9800Z.
A solid-state illumination source projector promising up to 20,000 hours of operating time, the DU9800Z offers 18,000 ANSI lumens with a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution that, the company says, delivers an impeccable standard of colour and detail.
The company claims the small form factor and light weight enables simple and swift installation, while a new constant brightness feature helps reduce blending maintenance with customisable brightness. Equipped with a smart sensor, the DU9800Z continuously measures the light output and adjusts the illumination accordingly, maintaining constant brightness and reducing the need for installers to recalibrate the projectors regularly.
The DU9800Z also features advanced thermal management technology from Delta, as well as a proprietary sealed optical engine design. This design features a liquid cooling base and enables better cooling airflow, providing greater robustness by eliminating any negative dust impact as well as ensuring quieter operation, says the company. As the laser light source features maximum thermal control, the DU9800Z’s operation is kept very stable and is ideally suited to 24/7 operation with low user intervention, claims Vivitek.
