SpinetiX ships 5,000th HMP200

Swiss digital signage manufacturer SpinetiX has announced that it has sold 5,000 units of its HMP200 Hyper Media Player, which comes pre-loaded with Fusion Software.

Swiss digital signage manufacturer SpinetiX has announced that it has sold 5,000 units of its HMP200 Hyper Media Player, which comes pre-loaded with Fusion Software.

“The demand has been tremendous for our latest HD player and we’re keeping up with the great amount of orders as they come in,” said Serge Konter, marketing manager at SpinetiX (pictured). “It truly demonstrates how well our technology has been accepted by the market. This is not to say that we are out of stock as many more are being manufactured to keep up with orders and lead times. We certainly do look forward to hearing how our partners use our technology in the latest digital signage applications around the globe.”

The HMP200 Hyper Media Player uses only 7 watts of power due to its solid state storage. The unit has a lifetime guarantee making it, says the company, very attractive to integrators, installers and users. The creation of bespoke applications such as multi-screen videowalls, interactive kiosks and touch screens is simplified by the fact that, like all SpinetiX players, the HMP200 is based on open protocols such as SVG and JavaScript.

The HMP200 offers comprehensive scheduling options and the unit’s standard 8GB of solid-state memory can be expanded via USB. As well as decoding HD video, the HMP200 can publish data, audio, and dynamic content from RSS feeds, widgets and instant messaging using the Fusion software which is part of the package.
