Sound Technology has announced 2017 training dates for the Soundcraft Vi Series consoles and HiQnet Audio Architect software application.

Sound Technology is offering a free one-day training course on Soundcraft’s Vi Series consoles, which runs monthly and is open to engineers, venues, hire, installation and production companies.

The sessions are designed to adapt to the requirements of the participants and includes hardware components and connections, Vistonics interface and console operation, and configuration of the console for FOH and monitor applications. Additionally, there will also be diagnostics and fault finding; shows and snapshots, as well as integration with other audio equipment.

The dates for the first half of 2017 are:

25 January (Adlib, Liverpool)

22 March (Sound Technology, Letchworth Garden City)

17 May (Sound Technology, Letchworth Garden City)

19 July (Sound Technology, Letchworth Garden City)

HiQnet Audio Architect is a software application used to configure, control, and monitor hardware devices from several Harman brands, including AKG, BSS, Crown, dbx, and JBL. While BSS and Crown devices are primarily used during class as a basis for examples, this course covers Audio Architect concepts common to products from all Harman brands within Audio Architect.

The two-day course encompasses three modules, AA100 HiQnet Audio Architect Introductory and BSS Audio Soundweb London 101 and 201. Attendees successfully completing all three modules of the course earn 15 InfoComm CTS credits.

The course dates for the first half of 2017 are 8-9 February, 12-13 April and 14-15 June.

Both courses are free to attend but registration is required.
