Pro Sound Awards: Sennheiser headline sponsor

Sennheiser has confirmed that it will repeat its major supporting role at the second Pro Sound Awards.

Headphone/microphone giant Sennheiser has confirmed today that it will repeat its major supporting role at the second Pro Sound Awards, to be held at the Ministry of Sound on 25 September 2014.

“Sennheiser UK is delighted to, once again, be a headline sponsor for the Pro Sound Awards,” says Alan March, product management (professional) and head of spectrum affairs, UK (pictured). “Last year’s inaugural event was excellent, with the relaxed and informal awards ceremony, in particular, coming as a breath of fresh air. The turnout was phenomenal and the opportunity to catch up with old friends in a convivial atmosphere contributed greatly to making the event a great success. We are certain that this year’s event will be equally successful, if not better still!”

“Having Sennheiser back on board is excellent news, as our lobbying period continues,” says PSNEurope editor Dave Robinson. “The company has brought out a raft of innovations in recent months – the TeamConnect conferencing technology for instance, and the LSP500 wireless loudspeaker system – and we’re confident our own innovation this year, ‘The Pre-Roll’, will be a fitting complement to Sennheiser’s visionary thinking.”

The lobbying period for the awards began last month and will remain open until the end of May, so drop us a line with your pitch. In a nutshell: write (up to) 300 words on who/what deserves wider recognition, and email it to prosoundawards@intentmedia.co.uk. Lobbying is free, anyone can do it, and making your thoughts known is easy.

The Awards will cover the spectrum of pro-audio, recognising excellence in the four sectors of Live/Touring, Studio, Installed Sound and Broadcast Audio, along with for special awards for Rising Star, Marketing Initiative of the Year, Grand Prix and Lifetime Achievement. Sony Europe has already agreed to sponsor the Broadcast Audio category.

Full details and more information on categories is available at www.prosoundawards.com/lobbying.

This year’s event begins with The Pre-Roll, two sessions of insight and discussion in a panel/Q&A format with leading figures from the industry.

Early bird tickets are currently available for the 25 September event for just £79. For more information, contact sara.mather@intentmedia.co.uk.
