SDVoE Alliance ramps up AV-over-IP training at ISE

Led by its president, Justin Kennington, the SDVoE Alliance – a non-profit consortium of technology providers which collaborate to standardise the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in pro AV environments – is presenting a comprehensive programme of AV-over-IP education and training sessions during ISE.

The sessions focus on Ethernet for professional AV signal transport, as well as the ecosystem around the SDVoE platform, which allows software to define AV applications.

A mix of free case study sessions, AVIXA AV/IT Workshops and Commercial Solutions Theatre presentations aims to familiarise system integrators, designers, consultants, installers and manufacturers with the new AV-over-IP paradigm – Software Defined Video over Ethernet.

Kennington said: “Education is a primary mission of the SDVoE Alliance and we are proud to be offer such an extensive array of opportunities at ISE 2018. Related sessions have drawn crowds across the globe and all attendees have walked away with a thorough understanding of the many advantages of the SDVoE platform to deliver the flexibility and scalability of Ethernet for 4K video without compromise, without latency and without image artifacts.”

Attendees to the SDVoE Alliance training sessions will learn what they need to know to leverage the SDVoE standard for high performance AV network deployments. More details are available via the SDVoE website.
