TP-Link opens its largest UK distribution centre to date

The 72,000sqft warehouse, double the size of previous TP-Link facilities, boasts a 50 percent increase in storage capacity allowing faster deliveries, greater stock availability and improved services

TP-Link, a leading provider of ISP, business and consumer networking and smart home solutions, has opened its largest UK and Ireland national distribution centre to date. By making a multi-million-pound investment in Newbury, TP-Link says it is reinforcing its commitment to the region, efficiency and customer service.

The high-tech 72,000sqft warehouse, double the size of any previous TP-Link facilities, boasts a 50 percent increase in storage capacity allowing faster deliveries, greater stock availability and improved service for business, retail and ISP customers. This investment is designed to provide TP-Link with the agility to anticipate and meet the demands of customers more effectively.

By streamlining logistics, the new facility reduces goods handling time by 62 percent and cuts resource usage by 66 percent, the company says. It means customers can expect shorter lead times and enhanced supply reliability, while ISPs benefit from new service opportunities like direct fulfilment and pre-configured product deliveries. These enhancements ensure that ready-to-use devices can be shipped directly to their customers’ doorsteps.

Nelson Qiao, managing director at TP-Link UK, said: “At TP-Link, innovation is not just about technology but also about delivering a better customer experience for our partners and customers. This new facility allows us to work faster, stock more and support businesses, retailers and ISPs like never before – helping them stay ahead of constantly changing market demands.”

The site also features a best-in-class demo room, designed to facilitate training and accreditation for TP-Link’s customers. Looking ahead, TP-Link has already provisioned two additional expansion phases, to meet the growing demands.
