PSCo Technical Distribution has announced an exclusive partnership with SMS Smart Media Solutions to distribute the Swedish company’s custom-made videowall bracket throughout the UK. According to PSCo, the SMS bracket – which will be sold as a video wall mounting solution named SMS Multi Display Wall Pro – has been designed specifically for the requirements of today’s video wall projects with serviceability in mind. It is the latest addition to PSCo’s product portfolio and is available for all of the distributor’s professional videowall displays from the Samsung, NEC and Sharp ranges.
With its claimed millimetre accuracy, installation flexibility and easy maintenance access, the SMS Multi Display Wall Pro addresses increasing demands to reduce complexity on video wall mounting bracketry specification and set up. PSCO says that its feature set and custom manufacture present attractive opportunities for specifiers, designers and installers across a wide range of professional applications, including education, office and conference, retail and display, events and shows, media, hotel and public spaces.
PSCo Technical Distribution says that it worked closely with SMS at its Assessment Centre in Reading to verify the bracket’s functionality and design for video wall configurations.

The bracket caters for displays from 46- to 60-inch in portrait or landscape options and reduces complexity during both specification and set up. Its modular approach to building and mounting a video wall is said to provide precise alignment, edge-to-edge with minimal seam gap.
A special ‘pull and slide’ function provides independent manoeuvrability of each display without the need for tools, providing easy access to the back and side of individual displays for cable management or service along with precision alignment of height, depth and tilt via the six-point fine adjustment feature.
It is possible to slide neighbouring displays to the side when it is necessary to gain access to a display, thus creating free space around the display. Then, the desired display can be pulled out in order to get behind it.
A magnetic lock that holds the scissor arms and the display in its withdrawn position is provided which gives a clearly audible click to indicate that the display is properly fixed in place.
The brackets are supplied as a complete package comprising custom made wall frame, display-specific back plates, scissor arms and security locking plates.
