d&b audiotechnik is spreading a threefold message at Prolight + Sound.
The ability to export complex sound reinforcement models straight from simulation software, via a remote control platform that provides seamless access to all functions, into the drive train of a sound reinforcement system, is a quest embarked upon by many, but, says the company, never properly achieved until now.
All three elements are present on d&b’s stand (J48 in Hall 8). The focal point is the newly launched d&b D80 amplifier. This is complemented by ArrayCalc V7 acoustic simulation software, which was extensively redeveloped last year. Sitting between these two is the third element – d&b R1 remote control software.
