Polycom has added RealPresence Group Series 5.0 software, RealPresence Touch solution, and RealPresence OTX Studio to its Group Series.
The RealPresence Touch solution (pictured) is a next-generation touch control compatible with the RealPresence Group Series, Immersive Studio, and new OTX Studio. The RealPresence Touch control features a tablet interface to make it easier for users to control visual collaboration. The interface allows IT administrators to optimise the end user experience and maintain consistency across the Polycom solutions.
The RealPresence Group Series 5.0 software has direct interoperability with both Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync without requiring additional devices in the network. In addition, the software includes Polycom Acoustic Fence technology, which ensures that meetings are not interrupted by background noises.

RealPresence OTX Studio is designed for mid-sized conference rooms allowing users to share content from their own device and engage in interactive annotation and whiteboarding with Polycom VisualBoard. It also has 3D Voice technology for accurate positional audio with a clear separation between participants.
RealPresence Group Series 5.0 software is scheduled to be available later in September, RealPresence Touch and OTX Studio are scheduled to be available in winter 2015.
