Peerless-AV has today (July 24) announced the availability of its new heavy duty projector mount, the PJR250.

The product, which was first unveiled during ISE 2018 in February and costs $563.00, has been engineered to speed up and simplify the installation and alignment of large venue projectors weighing up to 113.4kg.

The PJR250 uses a 'Hook-and-Hang' feature to provide a large landing area when securing a projector to the mount, thereby allowing a quick and easy installation. Furthermore, dedicated adaptor plates, which are designed for all heavy-duty projector brands, place the centre of gravity in the middle of the mount to simplify adjustments and achieve the perfect balance when ceiling or flush mounting a projector.

Additional features include horizontal adjustment up to 3" and ±1.5" (38mm) of lateral shift for perfect image alignment. The tilt (+15/-5°), roll (±5°) and swivel (360°) features are all lockable to prevent even the smallest shift to the image once install is complete. A . Cable management allows cables to be routed through the projector mount and out of sight. In ceiling mounted applications, multiple locations are built-in to secure cabling from the column to the projector.
