Panasonic is presenting a recreation of the 3D video mapping used to celebrate the 555th anniversary of the Bucharest Palace of Parliament at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. The 3D projection mapping will be onto a scale model of the Ceausescu’s People’s Palace using the newly launched DZ21K Evo series and the PT-DZ780.
The DZ21K2 Evo maintains the 20,000 lumens of the original DZ21K, but features extended lamp life, lower operating noise, improved image clarity and connection, due to Digital Link compatibility and two 3G-SDI inputs.
“The projection mapping we’ll have on our stand, delivered by our new flagship projector is incredibly impressive. It illustrates perfectly how scalable our projection solutions for rental and staging are,” said Jan Markus Jahn, European director of visual system solutions at Panasonic.
Panasonic is also demoing its 4K capability with the PT-RQ13K compact 4K projector on show at its 100sqm stand. The 10,000 lumens projector employs quad pixel drive technology to deliver 4K image quality. In addition, Panasonic is showing the LQ70 84in 4K display, the 1-chip DLP PT-DZ780 dual lamp projector and the LFV70 videowall displays, which feature narrow 3.5mm bezels.
