Optoma releases DV300i visualiser

The new visualiser offers both SXGA and XGA resolution and is aimed at the education and presentation sectors.

Designed to be easily connected to a projector via a standard VGA D-sub connector, the DC300i uses a 1/3in CMOS sensor to output high-quality images in both still and video formats. Described as simple to use with many advanced features, the DC300i offers automatic focus but includes full manual override capability. Using 9x optical and additional 12x digital zoom it produces images of high detail, while the ‘swan neck’ design allows precise positioning.

The DC300i’s head incorporates mercury-free LED technology to produce additional lighting when required, but which can be switched off to save energy when it’s not. Output from the visualiser can be saved direct to a PC via the USB connection, in either still or video format.

The DC300i is supplied with full set of cables and a fully featured remote control.
