NEC Display Solutions Europe has today (November 7) announces the launch of its new MultiSync EA271Q, an Quad HD resolution display for offices, control rooms and trading floors.

The new MultiSync EA271Q features a 27” highly-adjustable display surface with 1440p Quad HD resolution, delivering 1.75 times more content details compared to Full-HD.

NEC says the "stunning resolution" means that the screen area is used more efficiently, enabling users to promote maximum office productivity.

The firm added that the display is designed to maximise user comfort and wellbeing, with "outstanding" ergonomic features that enable perfect adjustment according to each user’s individual needs, while integrated sensors that adjusts screen brightness according to user presence and ambient light conditions. Meanwhile, combined Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technology further protects the viewer’s eyes.

“Businesses are looking for future-proofed displays that will optimise productivity in the office, while optimising users’ health and wellbeing,” said Jan Gräf, Product Manager Desktop Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “The NEC MultiSync EA271Q has been designed with painstaking attention to businesses’ real-world needs, combining higher resolution with the most comfortable viewing experience for users.

“The new 27 inch display is the ultimate marriage of form and function, and is perfect for a wide range of applications – especially for modern environments with high ambient light levels, and for multi-screen set-ups such as control rooms or trading floors. The EA271Q display will be loved by users and, with its comprehensive connectivity, business owners don’t have to worry about integration issues.”

The EA271Q model also enables owners to declutter their desktops thanks to the display’s USB Type-C connectivity, which replaces separate video, audio, computer power and USB connections with a single cable to connect a notebook or tablet PC with the display.

Other key features include maximum connectivity flexibility, with the display supporting DVI, DP, HDMI, USB and DP-out, enabling users to connect their display to existing platforms. It also features auto-adjust power consumption to minimise energy wastage, and easy multi-display control that enables users to manage the settings of up to six displays in a multi-monitor configuration via the master display with ControlSync technology.
