NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced the release of the PX602UL and PX602WL projectors with Laser Light Source technology.
The NEC NV1301 Scaler Chip and high bandwidth 4K picture processing supply the image. The projectors have inbuilt signal daisy chaining (HDMI out) capabilities, edge blending and a tiling function.
The Laser Light Source technology delivers constant light output and a typical lifespan of 20,000 hours. “Laser is the projector light source of the future. With the rapidly changing visual market, image quality is now not limited to digital cinema and high-end usage. Our advanced projectors add to our portfolio of professional colour accurate projectors,” said Gerd Kaiser, product line manager large venue projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “We are proud to be utilising Laser Light Source technology in order to meet professional projection demands and allow users to experience a brighter, purer and more advanced performance, while at the same time making installation and maintenance easier.”
With advanced installation, the projectors have free orientation with a flexible geometric control function. The projectors offer multiscreen picture options with multiple PiP/PoP functions targeting a spectrum of sectors including rental/staging, higher education, museums and large corporates.
