Legrand’s InterContinental appeal

Stainless steel switches and sockets from Legrand’s Arteor wiring accessory range have been installed throughout the new luxury InterContinental London Westminster hotel.

Developed in the former Queen Anne’s Chambers, which was initially built for use as a hospital in the 1800s, the 256-room luxury hotel is located alongside New Scotland Yard and the Ministry of Justice and is well within the eight minute division bell in the Houses of Parliament. Legrand secured the specification after the hotel’s designers were impressed by the style and quality of its Synergy wiring accessories, which were installed in The Savoy during its recent redevelopment. Chris Clements, business development manager for Legrand, said: “While the use of our Synergy range in the Savoy opened the door for this specification, I’m certain it was the breadth of wiring accessory choice we are able to offer that secured it. “InterContinental London Westminster wanted a product that was in keeping with its luxury requirements and at the same time fitted perfectly with their interior design ideas, and as we are able to do so many different styles and options – we truly have a solution for any interior.” Stainless steel is one of 17 different plate finishes available for Legrand’s Arteor wiring accessory and building automation range. The range combines cutting-edge style with state-of-the-art technology and features an incredible array of stand-out designs, including round and square rocker options, and covers everything from switches and sockets through to the most advanced automation controls. www.legrand.co.uk
