KV2 Audio loudspeakers grace UK school

Mount Grace School, Potters Bar, UK, recently installed a KV2 Audio ES loudspeaker system. The school required a high quality and versatile solution to enhance a wide range of events at its school hall, which is said to be the largest in Hertfordshire.

Local audio suppliers Philip Stannard Associates opted for KV2 Audio’s True Point Source over a line source solution. The loudspeaker design would result in fewer boxes and eliminate unavoidable cancellation issues that multiple source systems create.

The team at Philip Stannard Associates oversaw installation of the KV2 Audio system, which is made up of one ES 1.0 3-way mid/hi loudspeaker and one ES 2.5 2x15in subwoofer flown each side of the hall’s stage.

System power and management are handled by EPAK 2500R amplifier and control units featuring 20MHz delay line technology.

“The ES System has surpassed our expectations, the quality of the system is amazing. All who have heard it have been very impressed,” commented Paul Pytches from Mount Grace School. “The system will be used daily for a wide variety of events ranging from assemblies to performance and will add to our extensive technical facilities allowing students to put on even better shows and further develop their skills.”

Phil Stannard added, “We were pleased to be working with KV2 who offered full support throughout the project.”
