With 200 kinetic RGB sphere lights and a footprint of 30×20 metres, the Kinetic Lights installation for this year’s Vodafone stand at the international consumer electronics fair IFA in Berlin is one of the company’s largest arrays to date. The star-shaped arrangement, with a height movement of five meters, encompasses a giant LTE tower built from thousands of Lego bricks. A new firmware and software combination allowed for unparalleled pattern combinations and motion precision.

Kinetic Lights, developed by German company Whitevoid, offers a wide range of steel and power wire DMX winches for various art, interior, stage, show and event lifting and lighting applications. The main use of Kinetic Lights’ high-precision hoist systems is the synchronized spatial animation of large arrays of tethered LED light elements.

Since the first introduction to the market in 2005 the product range has been continuously extended and adapted to suit various lifting and lighting applications. Kinetic Lights’ winch and LED light products have been installed in lobbies, restaurants, bars, exhibitions, concerts and events worldwide.
