JBL Professional has introduced the EON618S self-powered subwoofer to add to the EON600 Series of portable PA loudspeakers. The 18in, 1,000W subwoofer has a large-volume enclosure to support low-frequency extension. It completes the EON600 product range and is tuned to perform optimally alongside EON610, EON612 and EON615 full-range systems.
The EON618S features premium handles, a standard M20 threaded pole cup and a rugged enclosure. DSP Parameters, including presets for EON600, EON200 and other manufacturers’ full-range loudspeakers, can be controlled via a Bluetooth app for iOS and Android. Selectable crossover presets are available through the EON Connect app.
The EON618S features a maximum SPL output of 134dB, with a frequency range of 31Hz 150Hz (-10 dB), a frequency response of 42.5Hz 150Hz (-3 dB), and weighs just 78lbs. With 1,000W of highly efficient Class-D power, it has been designed to maximise cabinet volume while maintaining a highly transportable footprint.
The EON600 Series features JBL’s advanced waveguide technology, transducers and wireless remote control of its onboard DSP EQ parameters via Bluetooth.
