James Vickerage to lead Imago ScanSource in UK and Ireland

Video solutions company Imago ScanSource has appointed James Vickerage as the new vice president for UK and Ireland, where he will be responsible for managing the video and voice solutions distributor’s operations.

ImagoScanSource was formed out of the acquisition of Imago Group plc by ScanSource last year, and operates as a separate business unit under the guidance of founder and former Imago managing director Ian Vickerage. Ian is now president of ScanSource’s European communications business.

James Vickerage started working with Imago in 1997 and held senior sales and marketing roles before becoming head of northern EMEA in 2010. He takes the helm after another year of successful performance for ImagoScanSource. He will continue to build the company’s reputation for value-added services in video, voice and data, project strategy, implementation and training, and support for its well-established reseller channel. His role will also include identifying relationships with leading vendor partners.

“We are at a most exciting point in our development having seen the emergence of a new business growing from the ScanSource acquisition a year ago,” commented James Vickerage. “This means that there will be much opportunity as well as key challenges ahead, and I am delighted and proud to be leading ImagoScanSource as we continue to expand our UK and Ireland business.”
