ISE 2020: Crestron demos latest Intelligent Workplace and AVoIP solutions

Crestron Flex, room scheduling platform, Crestron XiO Cloud service, digital signage, and AirMedia 2.0 headline key product introductions and enhancements

At ISE 2020 this week, Crestron is showcasing an array of new and enhanced products designed to help organisations drive greater communication, collaboration, and productivity at scale.

The Crestron Flex MX Series, the latest addition to the company’s line of UC solutions, simplifies connection to the room display, requiring just a single cable. It allows users to run native Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms software, or BYOD mode on the same device. Meanwhile, the addition of touch screen remote control capability with Crestron XiO Cloud means technology managers can provide better, faster support via the IoT-based provisioning service.

The addition of Miracast connectivity to Crestron products that feature AirMedia 2.0 wireless presentation technology (Crestron Mercury and AM-200/300), enables guests to wirelessly present without having to join the corporate network.

Crestron DM NVX

The company is also using ISE 2020 to unveil the latest enhancements to its DM NVX AV-over-IP platform: native support for the AES67 audio-over-IP standard and ultra-fast, no-glitch switching. The new functionality will be available for existing DM NVX products via a free firmware upgrade. With support for AES67, DM NVX endpoints can send breakaway audio from a video source to mixers, DSPs, and amplifiers, as well as receive signals from mixers, DSPs, and microphones that support the AES67 standard.

Also debuting at ISE 2020 is the NX2 Series, a range of DM NVX USB-over-IP endpoint extenders in a wall plate form factor. They are designed to provide routing and extension of USB 2.0 signals across the network between NX2 devices and are completely interoperable with DM NVX products. DM NVX leverages 802.1x authentication, AES encryption, and Active Directory technology to provide enterprise-grade security at the product level.

Crestron is demonstrating the latest enhancements to the DM NVX AV-over-IP platform, along with all of its other solutions for the modern workplace and home, in Hall-2, Stand C20 at ISE 2020, 11 – 14 February, 2020.
