ISE 2017: Digital Projection adds five solid-state projectors

Digital Projection has announced it is introducing five new solid-state laser projection systems at this year’s ISE, ranging from 7,500 to 27,000 lumens.

The focal point of the company’s presence at ISE will be a 4.5m-wide 4K projection wall, utilising the new Insight Dual Laser 27,000 lumen solid-state projector (pictured). The Insight Dual Laser has a native contrast of 2000:1, can operate for 20,000 hours maintenance-free, and is claimed to have the market’s best power to weight ratio. The Insight Dual Laser is also 3D-capable, offering both sequential and dual pipe formats.

Digital Projection is also extending its Highlite series with a new 4K option, the Highlite 4K-UHD, which is a 3-chip DLP system with 12,500 lumen brightness. UHD video processing is incorporated into this model and in-built geometry correction adds flexibility.

The E-Vision range will also be expanded with the E-Vision Laser 4K-UHD and Laser 10K models debuting at ISE. The Laser 4K-UHD is single chip DLP adding a 7,500 lumens option with 4K resolution. The Laser 10K adds greater brightness with 10,500 lumens at 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution.

At the show, Digital Projection will also introduce the Mercury Quad, an upgrade of the lamp-based Titan projection system. The model has been given a modern redesign for greater efficiency, while continuing to deliver 20,000 lumen output from four 465W lamps.

Lastly, the M-Vision range has been upgraded to also include the latest in laser illumination technology. The M-Vision Laser 15K is a single chip DLP projector with 15,000 lumens output and 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The M-Vision Laser 15K is designed to offer budget-sensitive applications a large-screen imaging solution. This includes venues contending with ambient light, as well as applications needing a powerful yet budget-conscious large-format imagery solution.

Alongside the new projection systems, the Digital Projection team will be on hand to guide and facilitate integrators and users with their upcoming projects.
