Invision UK has confirmed that US-based loudspeaker partner Polk Audio plans to reinvigorate its brand to broaden its customer base. The UK-based company has also announced a distribution deal with US company AudioControl that will see the latter’s range of home cinema and distributed audio components become available in the UK. The revamped Polk Audio brand will include a new logo and website intended to engage customers and enhance the brand to attract new customers. Chris Dawson, sales manager at Invision UK, commented: “The quality of its products clearly makes Polk a market leader and these changes will enhance its connection with existing customers while attracting new prospects and keeping Polk ahead of emerging trends.” Ben Newhall, Polk Audio’s head of sales and marketing, added: “As we take stock of where we are as a company, we are quite proud of our achievements over the past four decades. However, we’ve seen exciting changes in both the audio and overall consumer electronics industries, especially in the recent past. Now the time is right to renew our branding and our logo as well as our efforts in communicating the compelling story around our products and people.” The new distribution deal involving US AudioControl, which manufacturers the Director Model D3200 (a next generation amplifier featuring 16 channels with amplification and signal processing via ethernet) will enable the UK distributor of integrated AV solutions to “provide its deals with the best and most profitable solutions,” explains Dawson. “There is no doubt, therefore, that AudioControl with its rare combination of high-performance, solutions-driven engineering and excellent product support is the perfect partner for us and our customers.”
