AV Stumpfl is hoping to take home two awards from the InstallAwards ceremony on 12 June, with the company admitting that 4k and above picture quality at high-end AV projects like the one it has been nominated for should be a standard spec.
The company has been shortlisted for a project at Stiegl brewery in Salzburg, Austria – which saw the team at local integrator Stiegl Marketing create a walk-in cinema projection space by implementing AV Stumpfl’s Wings Engine Mediaserver with Wings Vioso.
“The team at AV Stumpfl is so proud that this unique installation is nominated for two awards,” commented Rudi Hradil, director of projection solutions, AV Stumpfl.
“Since the install, we have had a lot of requests of customers who are looking for similar immersive projection solutions,” commented Hradil. “For us it is a great response and it seems more and more end-users are asking for the highest possible resolution in multi display visualisation and panoramic projection solutions. 4k resolution and more is not only a headline, it should really be a standard in leading high-end AV projects.”
The integrator in charge of installing the solution, Stiegl Marketing, was pleased to report of the final product’s success. “The way the clients are introduced to the world of brewing does not only strike them because of the technical approach. The film whose title is ‘The Nature of Beer’ allows a better understanding of what is shown in the museum and what the visitors are going to see after the screening. Our guides report a much higher attentiveness since the new film has been included in the visit of our museum.
“The screening has definitely I-MAX quality or even better. It’s a multi visional show perfectly suited to fascinate the public.”
AV Stumpfl launched its Wings technology last year.
“We would be more than lucky and absolutely proud if we would be awarded for the best AV Installation as a proof for our innovative products and solution,” finished Hradil.
