Touchless technology on the up during pandemic

Massive surge in demand according to global consumer research platform Piplsay

Touchless technology has seen a massive surge in demand amid Covid19, says global consumer research platform Piplsay, with 51% of Americans and 44% of Britons confirming that their preference for touchless technology has increased amid the pandemic. In addition, 40% of Americans hold a negative view of businesses that do not adopt touchless technology, compared with 35% of Britons.

Piplsay conducted a nationwide survey in the US and and the UK, talking to 30,173 Americans and 6,090 Britons to understand what people think of this new trend. The organisation believes that the change in attitudes will continue well past the pandemic as safety and health take on a more profound meaning.
