On display at IBC2013 are Panasonic Visual System Solutions division’s recently announced TH-55LFV5 videowall displays, which feature a bezel-to-bezel distance of just 5.3 mm. Boasting high visibility, high durability and a robust design, the TH-55LFV5 modules deliver large, impactful digital signage for a variety of potential applications.
The new product is an IPS D-LED panel with a wide viewing angle, an anti-glare surface treatment and brightness of 500cd/sqm brightness – all of which ensure high visibility of 1080p images in brightly lit studios and elsewhere.
A shallow screen depth of 122mm, along with a minimalist design, makes LFV5 suitable for public spaces. Low power consumption is assisted through an LED backlight system that provides improved black levels and contrast ratio.
With a power consumption of just 220W, the LFV5 videowall display is highly energy efficient. Its light 36kg weight will be appreciated particularly by the rental and staging industry.
LFV5 comes pre-calibrated, significantly reducing installation time. Users can save the adjusted colour data in the internal memory for recall during reinstallation.
Continuous 24-hour operation is made possible through the use of a highly durable panel. A strong metal frame, up to two times thicker than others on the market, improves durability and robustness. The frame is shock-resistant and can prevent deformation through heat. Additionally, a special packing design using polyethylene enhances durability in transport and protects the unit from vibration.
TH-55LFV5 will be available from November 2013.
