Sportverein Sandhausen 1916 (SV Sandhausen 1916) partners with Exterity to provide its corporate guests with a ‘unique tailored’ match day experience
German Bundesliga football side Sportverein Sandhausen 1916 has enhanced the match day experience for its VIP prawn sandwich brigade, by deploying a new IP Video system, providing them with a more personalised experience and bringing them closer to the action.
The club, which plays in the second German division, has recently invested heavily in what it calls a ‘VIP Tower’ at its BWT-Stadion, which includes VIP lounges and boxes for its most important guests.
Winning team
The club teamed up with Exterity, a leading provider of IP video and digital signage technologies and systems integrator Multi Media System for the project, which delivers live TV and internal video to displays.
The Exterity system provides corporate and VIP guests with welcome messages on screens in the VIP reception area, as well as agendas and full presentations from both internal and external events hosted at the stadium. Additional benefits of the system include the delivery of Fan TV channels to the catering and public areas of the VIP tower, which feature sponsor names and messages, maximising opportunities for revenue generation.
“It’s no secret that sport is big business, and increasingly stadiums are realising that IP video plays a fundamental role in helping them stand out from the competition,” said Colin Farquhar, CEO of Exterity ”After recently installing a new VIP tower, SV Sandhausen 1916 selected our IP video system to compliment the modern feel of the suites. Our system provides VIP guests with a tailored experience, turning their visit into a day they’ll remember. We’re proud that our IP video solution will help SV Sandhausen deliver a first-class experience to some of its most important guests.”
