CFS Easi Rental is providing 50 Rileys Snooker Halls with equipment including Crown LPS-1500 amplifiers. Purchased through sub-distributor Batmink, the Crown amplifiers are being specified as part of a 50-venue Rileys revamp that entails the adoption of a new multi-media Fan Zone sports bar concept.
In each venue, a pair of LPS-1500s powers 12 compact, two-way JBL Control 1 Pros, distributed across each zone. The amplifiers take a variety of feeds – including Sky and terrestrial TV, Blu-ray, Nintendo Wii and background music from hard disk – as part of a high-end spec that also includes new projectors and 3D TVs.
Appraising the Crown devices, CFS commercial director Chris Cartmell commented: “I have used Crown XLS amplifiers in the past and found them to be reliable, so I was happy to remain with the brand. These LPS-1500s offer great value for money.”
Features include XLR inputs, Speakon and binding post outputs, stereo/parallel/bridge-mono mode, power/fault/signal presence/clip indicators, forced-air cooling, and protection against shorts and radio frequency interference.
