Fohhn will reveal its latest developments in system integration and mobile sound reinforcement, as well as new loudspeaker design options at Prolight + Sound 2016.
In Frankfurt, Fohhn will be showcasing its Linea Focus series, now equipped with an Optocore interface. A Dante connectivity option is also being planned and the company’s main development focus is to achieve compatibility with all audio networks going forward.
The manufacturer is looking to equip all its active loudspeakers, amplifiers and controllers with digital, transformer-balanced AES/EBU inputs to make them compatible with any digital audio network.
Fohnn has also announced it’s introducing the first models from its new generation of digital amplifiers, equipped with AES/EBU inputs and integrated digital signal processors.
Additionally, new loudspeaker models designed for mobile AV and concert sound applications will be on show. The focal point is the Focus Venue range of large Beam Steering systems for concert sound, and the fully horn-loaded PT-70 passive loudspeaker (2x 12in/1x 1.4in), a plug and play system for sound reinforcement in live clubs and town halls.
Lastly, the new loudspeaker design options refer to Fohhn Texture Design (pictured), which is a new and exclusive printing process that enables Fohhn to achieve optimal visual integration of its loudspeaker systems. In addition to the full range of RAL colours and gloss levels, an extensive selection of photorealistic finishes, from wood to marble, will now be available (for speakers with aluminium housings and a maximum length of 1.5m).
