ISE 2014: eyevis omniSHAPES goes 3D

New 120Hz image processing is enabling eyevis to show its omniSHAPES display solution in 3D at this year's ISE. The popular videowall display solution now offers judder-free representation of fast moving content or stereoscopic 3D content.

Videowall solutions created with omniSHAPES and squareTILES will be on show at the eyevis stand. Thanks to new 120Hz image processing, omniSHAPES are now capable of displaying 3D images. The active-stereo approach requires that the viewers wear appropriate active shutter glasses.

The new 120Hz technology enables sharp and judder-free representation of fast moving content or stereoscopic 3D content on single omniSHAPES, combined videowalls or certain areas of videowalls.

Already a firm fixture in news channel studios or deployed in the shape of a tennis racquet at the French Open in Paris, the high resolution zero bezel omniSHAPES are often used within creative installations. The company says this latest enhancement provides a unique stereoscopic viewing experience to spectators.

Also on show will be the quadrilateral 21.6in screen squareTILES, which allow almost any unusual configuration setting to be realised without the need for additional display controllers.

The squareTILES can be rotated while the internal image processing guarantees the correct display of the required image.

Stand: 2-C66
