Epson launches three projector ranges for home and office

Epson has unveiled three groups of projectors for home cinema, portable office and split screen home applications.

Epson has unveiled three new groups of projectors for home cinema, portable office and split screen home applications.

The first range includes three affordable home cinema projectors, the EH-TW5350, EH-TW5300 and EH-TW5210 (pictured) are capable of full HD 1080p images in both 2D and 3D.

The projectors can produce images up to 332in and the EH-TW5350 also includes built-in Miracast for wirelessly sharing media from Android smart devices.

Paul Wilson, business manager, Epson UK, commented: “The home cinema experience should deliver big, clear and sharp images with lots of defined detail and deep blacks, which are what the EH-TW5350, EH-TW5300 and EH-TW5210 are all about. With a compact and curved design, these affordable and versatile projectors look great around the home while delivering all the latest technology. Their digital connectivity and built-in 5W speaker means they can be put to use at a moment’s notice and with minimal hassle.”

All three projectors include a noise cancelling chip, Frame Interpolation and Image Enhancement technology. The White and Colour Light Output of 2,200 lumens allows for use in ambient light and during the day.

The second range added contains six portable projectors (EB-U04, EB-W31, EB-W04, EB-X31, EB-S31, EB-S04) for home and office use. The models also utilise 3LCD and White and Colour Light Output technology and can produce images up to 300in in full HD WUXGA 1,920 x 1,200 resolution.

Wilson explained: “Portable projectors need to be versatile enough to allow them to be used in a number of locations and we wanted this range to be enjoyed by the whole family. These projectors can not only be used by mum and dad to deliver high-quality presentations in the workplace or home office, but the kids can also use them to watch content in their rooms. The whole family can even come together at the end of the day and use the projector to watch a film or view family photos in the living room.”

Once optional ELPAP10 Wireless LAN Key is installed, smart devices can be used to connect to a projector and by downloading the iProjection app, users can project photos and documents from their smart devices. In addition, split screen functionality allows users to display two things at once.

The final line of projectors added includes the EB-U32 and EB-W32, which are portable and versatile for modern office use. As with the other projectors they have 3LCD technology and White and Colour Light Output technology and 3,200 lumens brightness.

Wilson added: “The EB-W32 and EB-U32 are compact and lightweight, while offering the breadth of connectivity required in the modern office, including HDMI and Wi-Fi. They also offer WXGA and WUXGA resolutions, for seamless use with modern laptops and presentation formats.”

Integrated WiFi on both models makes it easy to connect smart devices to the projectors. They also can be connected to smart devices by downloading the iProjection app and Epson’s EasyMP network software can be used to share content wirelessly from laptops, with multiple participants.

All the projectors are available from 1 September.
