Extending a commitment to ‘delivering the ultimate personalised smart home experience’, Elan is giving two new remote controllers their European debut. The Elan HR30 is designed for whole home control, while the Elan HR10 is targeted at media rooms and other single room installations.
Mike Jordan, vice president of product management at Elan, said: “The intuitive new interface of the HR30 and HR10 further elevates the smart home experience. For homeowners, the remote is the main touch-point in the system, so the Elan team worked with homeowners and dealers alike to create the most intuitive experience possible, personalised to the users’ lifestyle.”
The HR30 allows users to control the entire home – lighting, climate, multiple media rooms, security systems, and so on. A quick tap or swipe accesses favourite content and set ‘scenes’ in the home. Below the screen are three customisable buttons for instant personalised access to music, movies, and lighting.
The lower priced ELAN HR10 is compatible with all current ELAN system controllers and features a 2.4in colour LCD screen. Like the HR30, it features three customisable buttons, and its accelerometer ensures it wakes instantly when needed. Both the HR30 and HR10 include a charging base.
